I like old movies. Well, I like older movies, anyway. It's hard to call something from the 70's or 80's old without acknowledging my own slide past the 30 mark. You know, that point at which, allegedly, one becomes untrustworthy. ;)
A movie from that time frame worth watching is Being There--with Peter Sellers as the simple-minded but quotable Chance the Gardener. A human blank canvas onto which all of the characters project the person they wish to see.
"Life is a state of mind," is one quote from the movie. If you don't watch the whole movie, try to find a clip of the ending on the net.
